I left my dwelling on 5.31.25 and have yet to get a hold of someone that can help. I’ve disconnected twice online and still keep getting charged.

I do not recommend bc if your late on a payment they will shut off your power and you want have electricity until the back in office so if it goes out on a Friday your screwed. And plus I made my payment Friday here it is mid afternoon Saturday no power and they have already taken 10$ and I have no electricity

If your service is disconnected and a payment is made the service will be restored within two hours regardless of the time the payment came in. Please keep in mind that Payless Power charges two days in arrears. If you have any other questions or concerns you can reach out to a live representative by calling in to 1-888-963-9363 during business hours, which are Monday through Friday between the hours of 9AM through 5PM. We also provide after hours email assistance during these hours: 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, and 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Sunday. Published on June 10, 2025

Ok no hidden fees that’s hard to believe I had $118.00 yesterday after depositing $100. Shows 3.67 for yesterday but left remaining at $111. I’m never sure what I’m being charged. Becoming very dissatisfied

You can see the average daily use for the past three bills as well to give you an estimate of how much you are spending per day. As the weather heats up our usage can increase even when it does not seem that anything has changed in the home. I don’t like that I get charged 5 dollars for making a payment unless I enroll in auto pay. If I can’t afford auto pay l, I definitely can’t afford 5 dollars just to pay you.

Great service, it does get more expensive during the summer days even though we don’t use more electricity but they are very reliable

If you require electricity, quickly at that – then I would highly recommend PLP, even though the prices are beyond absurd as it is 20 cents a killowatt and coming from the industry, the average cost per kWh is between 9-12 cents, therefore, PLP is BANKING off of those who either do not qualify for a 24-month plan with a REP (retail-electric-provider) – which is the apedemy of being taken advantage of OR they need power and do not have the time to wait 7-10 business days for Oncor (our electricity distribution provider in the DFW).

To summarize, you state that Payless Power is good if you need service fast or have no other options, but our prices are nearly double that of the average price offered by competitors. While its easy to see how such a conclusion can be drawn, it’s not an accurate assessment. Please note that payless Power does not uses tactics such as bullseye plans and large usage credits to deflate advertised rates. We also don’t use gimmicks like free nights and weekends to create a false illusion that the customer is getting something for free when that does not happen. Our rates are competitive with major providers . Visit www.powertochoose.org and review facts sheets companies with plans with prices that seem too good to be true.
