I’ve used this company for years, and have been very pleased until recently. I was overcharged twice last week, and after reading the reviews, the same thing happened to several customers on those same days, so something is not right. I checked the smart meter website and confirmed my usage was much lower than I was charged for (charged for 104, only used 35). I did send an email regarding this, and if it’s resolved, I will be happy to update my review and provide 5 stars!

Y’all make me panic. I have only a refrigerator and on cold evenings a small space heater in a small mobile home. I’m on a fixed budget. I don’t understand how I go through $5 a day? I’m hardly home. Yet it seems you’re company has it’s straws in my account constantly sucking energy and money from me. I haven’t had an account for a month and I spent MORE than a regular company. Get real.

We understand that it is easy for customers to become frustrated if their usage doesn’t make sense to them but we bill you daily using the very same meter reads as any other electric company in your area would use. You can also audit these reading daily by viewing your usage on http://www.smartmetertexas.com. This a free site operated by the State that shows you how much energy you home uses in increments from 15 minutes to a month. You can use this information to validate what your electric company bills you for and also determine what is consuming the power at your home. We will also be more than happy to go over your billing.
