The other is a daily, hourly and monthly break down of my bill on the website.{ But NOW the BAD.} The DAILY RECURRING FEES. Im paying more for daily recurring fees than for ENERGY USED. I do understand i have used a little more energy lately cause it is a bit colder this week. Bot my recurring fees for the month is $120 . So out of $243.00 for the month i used $123.00 and $120.00 went to recurring fees. Please make it make sense cause I don’t understand

To recap, there are things you like about the service and you find a lot of useful information on your monthly billing summaries and in the customer portal. On the flip side you are concerned about the non recurring fees and do not understand them. I can help you with that. On your plan, there is a $3.89 daily customer charge. This includes up to the first 17 KWH of power at no extra charge. If you use more that 17KWH during a day (which you consistently do) your daily KWH kicks in for each KWH over the first 17 . You do not get charged the daily recurring fee AND the first 17KWH. The only other fee we charge is the minimum payment fee for payments under $75. Have been with these guys a long time & they charge me way too much per kwh especially considering how long I’ve stayed with them. I’m about to move around. Don’t waste your hard earned money with this shady energy company

Service is really horrible the company don’t care about there customers I pay over 500 dollars a month still can’t get a instalment plan I pay 20 a day for lights for me and my kids I would not 🚫 recommended them to no one very bad service

I like this light company. My rates have changed I don’t know why but I was paying 5.45 in daliy cost now am paying 12.77 that’s a big jump don’t understand it
Response: Tracey- Your comments state that your daily costs more than doubled and you do not understand why. You are correct in stat you saw considerable increases over the Christmas holiday weekend. This aligns with the arctic blast that say temperatures plunge to around 10 degrees and stay in the 20s for multiple days. When this happens, your heating system will most like be running nonstop. Luckily , you are now seeing your usage return to more normal levels now that the weather has warmed up. If you visit your My Account Portal you can see your daily usage and how it is affected by each days high and low temperatures. You can also see your usage history by the hour. Many customers see that their usage in the winter actually spikes overnight when they are asleep because this is when its coldest outside. I don’t like the service at all. Seems like I’m being charged more than the kwh price quoted and due to not being able to see a statement you’ll never know

This would be concerning for anyone but please remember that you can review your itemized daily billing on your Payless Power My Account portal. This also includes hourly, daily and weekly usage records that show your usage in relation to the weather. This company is HORRIBLE! I just had $80 balance in my bill yesterday. Today it’s $48 so they have charged me $32 for one day of electricity! Can’t wait to leave this company
Horrible cut my power off while my account was in the positive and its during a freeze

When this over I’m never using this company again. I been in my apartment waiting on lights. I understand it’s my fault they got cut off forgot to pay but to have my kids and I in the dark in the cold and won’t turn my lights on. It said it will take 2 hours or less and it’s well over 2 hours. It’s night time can’t see shit can’t cook my kids just sit here in the dark waiting. This is so wrong I’ll will never with this company again
Response: Ms Adams- It’s a very serious situation when you need power and do not have it. This is especially true at night and when its cold outside. The local power utility, CenterPoint Energy , experienced widespread delays in processing reconnections n 12/21/22. They are the Company responsible for working the disconnection and reconnection orders we submit. Sadly, you would have experienced the same delays in restoring your service regardless of the electric provider you had selected. My bank account from Minnesota was use to pay somebody’s account, I received no help from Payless power on getting on money back.
