DONT DO IT.. as a senior citizen on a fixed income my average light bill on a weekly basis is $120. That means I play close to $500 a month for service with this company. I do not suggest anyone to get involved with this company unless you approved of being ripped off… senior citizen, should have rights and should not be treated like this. I do not advise anybody to ever do business with this fraudulent company.

Please keep in mind that Payless Power charges customers based on the amount of electricity you consume, and your home seems to be consuming a high amount of electricity every day. We always recommend that customers review their billing via the My Account Portal at paylesspower.com You can also utilize the smartmetertexas.com website, which will break your consumption down into 15-minute intervals so you can see when you consume the most amount of electricity. Since your home appears to be small and older, we would recommend you or any potential landlord to hire an electrician. Worst company ever!!! They will put a switch hold on you but their supposed to be PRE-PAID. then they will charge you $99 just for wanting to switch to another company!!!! SCAM!!!!!!!! SCAM!!!!! SCAM!!!!!! IM SPENDING $20/DAY and they won’t even let me change companies unless I give them another $99 on top of what I’m already paying DAILY!!!!!!!

Payless Power can see you are experiencing issues with account Switch Holds and the Early Termination Fee. We understand that addressing these concerns is important for you and your services. Customers will have a Switch Hold placed on their meter if they agree to enter into a Deferred Payment Plan with Payless Power. This Switch Hold is advised to the customer when the Deferred Payment Plan is initially set up. You can remove the Switch Hold by calling us at 1-888-963-9363 and paying off your remaining Deferred Payment Plan balance with a live representative. Our 6 and 12-month plans have an Early Termination Fee of $99 should your services end before that term is up. This information can be reviewed via the My Account Portal at paylesspower.com on the Electricity Facts Label document. Finally, Payless Power charges customers based on the amount of electricity you consume, and the amount you are billed for is included with the daily billing notification texts that we send each morning. Doesn’t allow assistance with paying bill payment arrangements can never be made then to switch service you have to pay $100 fee and that’s insane when you being ripped off

Payless Power offers two Payment Assistance options for its customers should they need additional time: a Same Day Account Protection, and a Deferred Payment Plan. Keep in mind that if you have used the options previously while your balance is negative, you will not be eligible for them again if your balance remains negative. If this is the case, a payment will need to be made to avoid disconnection or to initiate a reconnection. Our 6-month and 12-month plans all include a $99 Early Termination Fee should your contract be broken before the term is up. The only way to waive this fee is if you advise us that you are moving.
