Response: Ms. Saunier. Thank you for taking the time to reach out .I can see that you are very frustrated that you power is off. That’s not a good thing in any circumstances and especially now. If you contact us at 888 963 9363 we have several options to quickly restore your service. As a Texas based family owned and operated business, Payless Power takes its relationship with our customers seriously. That’s is why we offer same day account protections and deferred payment plans to assist customers who are struggling to pay their bills. We also do not chare disconnection or reconnection fees and you can get reconnected usually within an hour for as little as $20 pre-payment. No customer who is unable to pay the morning they are due for disconnection has to be disconnected as long as they contact us. We have options. Also , if you have recently lost employment due to the Covid-19 situation there is a State program designed to assist you with your electricity account. Please visit https://paylesspower.com/covid-19-response/ for information on how to enroll. Published on April 21, 2020

I only called to find out about prices, and they created a new account for me, without my previous authorization. I finished the conversation by telling the salesman that the rate he was offering me is higher than the one I already have. This salesman (Mr. Rudy), deceptive, only to get a commission, evidently had already created an account for me. I even got an email and a text message saying “welcome” and giving me my account number. A disaster! So not serious and so unprofessional!

Response: Brian, You will have to register for the Electricity relief program to protect accounts up until the state emergency is lifted. As we advise in the messages on how to enroll. Due to not having this active on your account a disconnection was sent. This is the link you can visit https://paylesspower.com/covid-19-response/ or contact us at 888-963-9363 so we may further assist you. Published on April 17, 2020
These insensitive pricks turned my power off today. In the midst of everything that is going on. Our government has placed a shelter in place order until April 30th. Yet y’all expect ppl that don’t have essential jobs to be able to pay y’all before we can get back to work? Once Coronavirus has moved on, I will be locating a different energy service. This is some of the lowest crap you could’ve pulled on a loyal customer when the whole world is pulling together to try to help each other get through this tough time. I’m at a loss for words ????

Response: Thank you for commenting Juan'kimla. Payless Power was sending daily alerts with the link included https://paylesspower.com/covid-19-response/ on registering your account for the Electricity Relief Program to assist customers by protecting their account from disconnection until financial benefits such as unemployment or federal stimulus money arrives. The customer is still responsible for their charges and should continue to make payments to keep their account current. Please contact us at 888-963-9363 for anymore questions or concerns. During this virus you would think if you could pay over 3/4 of your bill they would let you slide on 40 dollars till the next bill comes out but nooo.

Response: Ms Dobbs- To our understanding , a supervisor was able to speak with you on 4/2/20 at approximately 3:45 PM CST. At that time, he explained to you steps you can initiate with your bank that will result in the refund of your funds. We have also taken steps to ensure that your card will no longer be used while you are awaiting your bank to cancel your card. If this has not addressed your issue we would be happy to speak to you further. You may contact us directly at 888 963 9363. Published on April 03, 2020
