I am an owner that uses pre paid just to renovate or while rented. I would prefer to have the option to add just 5 or 10 dllrs instead of having to add $20.00 and up.

I haven’t been using the service for that long about a week but, I know a couple of people that have prepaid electricity and, they seem to be satisfied with it. So far its ok its just something new for me.

I don’t like my daily cost, it was times i was barely at home and my daily cost was the same. I felt it was unfair.. I actually pay attention to what i have on in my house, and its unfair at times.

The most important thing to bear in mind is that temperatures increased significantly in North Texas the past few weeks. This can result in drastic changes in your daily usage even if you do not touch your thermostat. The hotter it is outside the longer and harder your AC will have run to compensate. My only issue with the company is the rates. I switched from another prepaid company for which I was a customer for 3 yrs whom failed to transfer my service as requested which caused a bunch of other issues. Regardless – my electric bills through Payless Power are honestly outrageous. I did expect some increase as my new residence is bigger – however my bills have quadrupled. Reviewed my bills and the amount I am paying for service is higher than was expected. Even on days I got the discount – this was typically over-ridden by the daily “one time charge” of approximately $1 a day. I like the communications, the website is great for me to see everything in one place, etc. I paid less for a month of service through my apartment complex (this was due to my service not being connected by other provider) than I do through your company. I would have expected my bill from them to have been the higher bill since they most likely bill at a higher rate and include a $50 charge just for that since they don’t want you going through them. My bill through Payless Power has at minimum been double that cost.
