Payless Power informs customers of their balances every day in the morning, as well as urgent messaging should their balances be low or even negative. From here, customers will have until 12pn (noon) to make a payment to the account that will bring it to at least $20 positive, or request assistance for their balance (either with an Account Protection until 8pm that same day, or the owed balance being deferred with a deferred payment plan). We understand that having your services disconnected can be stressful, and we want to make sure that we prevent this situation from happening again. If an account is below zero dollars (that is, negative in balance), Payless Power will automatically send a service order to disconnect services by 12pm noon. This can be avoided by processing a payment to bring your balance to at least a minimum balance of $20 before 12pm, or requesting an account protection for your account before 12pm, with said account protection extending you until 8pm that same day. We also offer deferred payment plans, which can be requested before 12pm noon to prevent a disconnection. Hery dissatisfied with this service, it suppose to help people but instead it hurts people, to expensive and will keep you hostage if you try to cancel service, but it`s considered prepaid service, what part am I missing… No contract but pay as you go and they want to put a hold on your service, so you can`t cancel, it`s time for my lawyer to investigate this.. like they say some good things are bad, and this is one of them, if you want to lose money get with Payless Power

Payless Power's pre-paid plans are all contracted plans that guarantee the provided energy rate. Customers are able to switch their services to another provider should they wish, though this will incur an early termination fee should they do so before the contracted term expires. The only way we would prevent any sort of switch away is if the customer agrees to a deferred payment plan, which would put a switch hold on their meter.
