They lied straight to my face. I paid all the money I owed and they told me that the switch hold is not active. T X U just told me that the switch hold is active. I guess I have to get a lawyer, these lying, thieving, s.o.b.’ s. Are crooked as hell.
Response: Hello - we understand your frustration but there is clearly a misunderstanding in place. Centerpoint confirms that your switch-hold was removed Friday evening. To clarify, Centerpoint owns the meter and performs the work requests that we submit. You can call Centerpoint at 800-332-7143 to confirm.

Was grate when I first got with the company now it seem like my money on my account disappearing even on the days I don’t be at home

It's hard for some to accept that there charges have double from what they were just a couple of months ago. The reality is AC units run nearly non stop throughout the summer and we only bill you using your daily meter reads. 2 stars because its very simple and easy to get started and maintain your account. However, online misleads you to think you will get a 10.3 cent rate or something close to that when in reality you pay 13.00 cents pkwh. Becaise in orded to get that 10.3 cent rate your account must stay over $35.00. You wont learn this until later after recieving email updates and doing the math on why its costing a person a rediculous amount a day for power. I will be switching immediately due to this. 13.00 cents are you mad!!!!

I am only giving one star because negative stars is not an option. They tell you rates are about the same as regular electric companies. It is not true. We were overly conscience of our usage and still we were averaging $16.00 dollars a day. Do the math…..thats $480 a month! We would sweat all day and night. Thermostat stayed at 78° all day, no tv used, no washer and dryer used. We were miserable. Be very careful if you ror some crazy reason decide to use this company. They do not fully explain how their system works and are misleading about everything.
I suggest trying to work something out with a real power company unless you like being stressed over extreme price gouging. My bill with TXU averaged $125 a month in summer…..running the ac at less than 72° during the day and 68° at night.
Be very careful and do your research.
I will never use pay as you go power again. I learned my lesson. I will tell anyone that will listen how horrible this company is.

I was worried about getting electricity for my home through a prepaid company. I was calling around to see different rates then going through all the hassle of credit checks while dropping points each check, deposits needed, contracts, waiting for connecting date, and ect. I looked again to your website and decided to try it. No deposit asked just a little payment LITERALLY A LITTLE PAYMENT TO START. I placed the amount that I wanted to pay over and set up my ideal date for connection. I get a GREAT RATE, texted daily of my balance and consumption of each day in detail, and the website is very easy, fast, and clear. This is the best decision I made on electricity for my home and my money’s worth. 10+ Great Company keep up the great work.
