It never fails. It goes up every time we are using less and less of the lights and power. We have turned the heater down and our usage average continues to go up per day. Is there something I missed in the wording of the agreement because I did not see any part about escalating Costs of power per day? I started very conservative and was using $9.30 per day average power per day. now I’m even using less electricity than that and I have exceeded $14.93 per day for power. This utilities provider is clearly not helping people like this.

I like the convenience of prepaid but I know that the kWh fluctuate toooooo much especially when I only have certain things plugged up, and I deliberately do not use certain appliances or lights. It’s unreasonable for me to fluctuate from 11 kWh to 80 something kWh. That’s way too wide of a range.

These plans have a fixed rate, therefore the rate that Payless Power charges per kWh is fixed, and does not change during the plan time period. The only thing I see wrong I tested my theory I unplugged all and used no heater cold weather and bill still jumped up $4. To $5. dollars. I find that unjust.

Payless Power has been the best electricity company I’ve had in years. I can save money for other necessities. Their customer service is great and they have payment plans that come in handy when you need them the most.

Was quick and easy to get set up at first rates where fair and app easy to use . But with time rate increased dramatically and odd recurring and non recurring fees started popping up and one time fees that keep repeating . If it’s one time why is it actually recurring? Other then that easy to use and not much of a extension window. Only 20 bucks witch is about a day maybe 2. I would still recommend it to my friends

The rates for our 6 and 12-month plans are fixed, meaning that we don't change the charge per kWh for as long as that plan is in place. You may see an overall increase in your charges because of the recent cold weather, as customers use more energy during times of winter weather.
