I remember a time when this company worked more for its consumer… There are no longer grace periods and the rates keep rising per kw…………………………………………

By maintaining a balance above $35 you can save 20% off our standard rate. We also still offer deferred payment plans if the grace period is not enough time you are more than welcomed to call in when the balance is negative before 11am to have that applied. Simply horrible. I asked for no contract prepaid service, and they tried to get sneaky about putting me on a contract. I take pictures of my meter everyday and every night to measure my own usage, but it never matches up with what they bill me for. Then they say that they’re billing runs two days behind, so there’s nothing they can do about helping it make any sense. It’s okay for a few days or a couple weeks as a temporary solution, but I would never recommend it for long term.

Yes our billing is 2 days in arrears due to AEP sending us your reads you can verify your usage using www.smartmetertexas.com to verify what is being reported directly from your meter.
