This company sucks they will charge you for 25$ reconnect fee even if your account was never discounnected.. if you try and talk to some one like a supervisor she will not try and resvole the manner instead she will aruge with the customer.. no wonder can’t handle calls accordingly cuz she hasn’t been properly trained… All need to go to a training regarding customer service and I want my money back that 25$ my lights were never cut off but you feel as though you can Rob me that 25$ .. this won’t be the last you hear from me
Response: We are sorry you are under the impression that you were not assisted properly. We did confirm with Centerpoint the times disconnections & reconnections took place. Here is Centerpoints customer service number to call & confirm the times, 800-332-7143. Published on February 18, 2019
I still have question as I’ve called in and really got no answers about the first four days that my electricity was turned on, I was using more power 26-30 kw/day and had not moved in yet…apt was empty. Now that I’ve moved in I’m using 10 to 12 or less kw/day. Apts checked and AC/heater in off position. I need to be refunded for those days. Sounds like I’m paying last tennents bill. Is this fair for me to pay over twice as much when I was not moved in and being charged for days.?? Total that was not my kw usuage was about about 100-120kw. What is Payless Power going to do about this problem?? Thank you for your valued time and help with this matter. Shawn Minson,. 6102 Winsome Ln #96. 77057
Response: Thank you for commenting. After reviewing your account the service was started on 2/4/19 per your request. We have meter reads that were received from Centerpoint showing that there was electricity being used in the residence during those days. The usage has been confirmed in SmartMeter Texas as actual. That is a website that is operated by the state. We have no way to know what caused the usage to be what it was, but the meter recorded it. Payless Power does not actually read your meter. That is done by Centerpoint. They own all of the meters in that part of Texas. We simply bill based on the usage recorded by the meter. You can also audit these reading daily by viewing your usage on http://www.smartmetertexas.com. This a free site operated by the State that shows you how much energy you home uses in increments from 15 minutes to a month. You can use this information to validate what your electric company bills you for and also determine what is consuming the power at your home. Published on February 18, 2019
