Someone gave their company the wrong address and my lights were taken from payless. I contacted payless to advice i never switched and to get my account back. Once my account was regained all of a sudden i was threatened with a disconnection bc they claim oncor had advised them that i used $46 and I’m like how when i haven’t moved in and nothing is plugged up. When they reviewed my account it showed that i only use 2.5 kwh a day. Here it is 2 weeks later and they still haven’t fixed my account. They offered a credit until process supposedly complete while waiting for real usage from Oncor. Sad part about the credit is they added a switch hold to my account and told me I can’t switch companies which is sad when I’m not even the cause of this situation. I am being punished for someone else’s mistakes and continue to be penalized. I have funds that are unaccounted for. No one is doing what they say they are doing as far as the customer service reps. I am highly disappointed.

Wouldn’t give them any stars if I could worse service I’ve ever had they don’t answer your complaints I’ve been being charged way more than I should be and I can’t even get them on the phone just automated systems. Would not recommend to anyone that doesn’t like being robbed.

Not sure what happened to this energy company, but ever since their so called Billing system update, it’s being ridiculously HIGH!!!! and No statement to view or see!!! Would have given them a zero star but it’s Not available☹️

Our rates haven't changed since the new system change, but the weather has definitely been a factor here in north Texas. Even if you aren't home, your home requires more energy to keep its temperature because of how cold it gets. Payless Power can only bill for what the meter reads, just like other electric companies. The worst electric company I have ever dealt with , my bill fluctuates extremely different every day even though my living conditions in my home never change, they charge me anywhere from 10 dollars a day to 20 dollars a day for electricity. When I called to ask why so high when nothing in my home has changed they have no answer 2 weeks later it goes back down next day back up.

If the temperature is 70 one day and 50 the next, it will require more energy for your home to heat up, even if you don't change anything to your thermostat. Bill keeps getting higher and higher as I use less and less electricity I was happy tell things were changed up on your text or ownership or whatever happened but I’m very disappointed fixing to change providers

This is looking more and more like a scam each week. Im on a pre pay plan which means i only get what i pay for in advance but im starting to get notices abt a negative balance even after i add more money to the account……extremely dissatisfied….dropping service
