The pay-as-you-go plan is shockingly similar to the electric meters in apartments in London back in the ’60s and ’70s, where you had to put money in every few hours, or your power went off. Why can’t you guys bill monthly like everyone else does? This constant texting and e-mailing to pay the bill is an outdated concept. Thankfully, this won’t last long for me. an

Payless Power provides pre-paid services so you can better track and manage your electricity consumption and billing, as opposed to a sudden single bill every month. Daily text and email notifications are sent to inform customers of the power they consumed, as well as to stay on top of their overall account balances. Promise that the lights on until 8:00 come on with lights off before 8:00

Response: Ms Turk- Your comments state that you were promised that your service would be on until 8:00 PM but it was disconnected before that. That is no doubt frustrating and its very understandable that you would be upset. A review of the contacts you made with us show that you called on 11/4 and was provided an account protection which covered you until 8:00 PM that day. The representative also advised that if no payment was made that a disconnection order would not go out until noon on 11/5. No payment was posted, and services were disconnected that afternoon. Our records and recordings do not reflect you being advised that services would be on until after 8:00 Pm on 11/5. I hope this clarifies your concern.
