Worst company ever!!! They will put a switch hold on you but their supposed to be PRE-PAID. then they will charge you $99 just for wanting to switch to another company!!!! SCAM!!!!!!!! SCAM!!!!! Customers will have a Switch Hold placed on their meter if they agree to enter into a Deferred Payment Plan with Payless Power. This Switch Hold is advised to the customer when the Deferred Payment Plan is initially set up. You can remove the Switch Hold by calling us at 1-888-963-9363 and paying off your remaining Deferred Payment Plan balance with a live representative. Our 6 and 12-month plans have an Early Termination Fee of $99 should your services end before that term is up. This information can be reviewed via the My Account Portal at paylesspower.com on the Electricity Facts Label document. Finally, Payless Power charges customers based on the amount of electricity you consume, and the amount you are billed for is included with the daily billing notification texts that we send each morning. I have used Payless power as my electricity provider for years and like many people that have hard times and occasionally can’t afford to pay bills I have had to ask Payless for an extension and I have never been turned down. I have even just plumb forgot to put money on my electric and had my electric turned off and as soon as I added more money to my account my electricity was turned back on within minutes. I would recommend Payless Power to anyone that doesn’t want to deal with the hassle of other electricity providers.
