This company will drain your money do not use them this is my last week. Y’all deserve no stars

Response: Ms Williams- You review shows that you fee l that you are being charges unfairly. A review of your account shows that you are on a variable price plan that makes you vulnerable to rate increases. The good news is that we do have more affordable alternatives available for you. A supervisor will call you today to discuss your options. Published on September 26, 2022

This is the worst prepaid company they will rob u blind

Response: Ms Darby- You comments show that you are unhappy with your costs . It is definitely easy to see why you feel this way. Prices have been at an all time high this year throughout the electricity industry. Every Texan is being affected, not just Payless Power customers . In fact we are one of the better values available. Still the prices all Texas residents are seeing have been challenging budgets. This is due to the whole process of natural gas which has been at its highest level since 2008. Please rest assured that Payless Power is trying everything possible to make sure our rates are among the lowest in the industry.Call us at 888 963 9363 for more information. Why do I have to pay $4.95 just to add money under $75? That’s crazy. I don’t use $75 a week it’s like your forcing me to add more money for no reason. This should be fixed. If it was fixed I would recommend this service to everyone. But if this continues this service is a rip off don’t use it. Beware to this sceem.

Response: Ms. Cardenas- Yor review states that you do not agree with he $4.95 minimum payment fee. You fee that it is a rip off and it forces you to add extra money for no reason. You would refer friends and family to Payless Power if it were not for this fee. Thank you for your feedback. It’s important to hear what customers think so we can factor this into our decision making process in the future. The most important thing to realize is that you do not have to pay $75 or more to avoid the fee. You can also make payments as small as $40 with no fee if you enroll in our autopay feature. This will also eliminate any potential for disconnections as it will ensure there are always funds on your account . Also keep in mind that requiring a $75 payment to avoid the fee does not mean that you have to pay more for your electricity… it actually allows you to make fewer payments or to “pay less”. This allows us to manage our rates and try to keep them lower by reducing costs for credit card processing etc. Trying to keep rates lower has not been easy this year due to record prices for the natural gas that is used to run the power plants. Adding a fee that customers can avoid is a better option than raising costs for every customer. We also have seen over the years that customers who make larger payments , fewer times each month are generally more satisfied with the service because it’s a more stress free experience. They charge too much for nothing…. They use to let you put anything you wanted NOW THEY TELL YOU TO PUT $75 or the take out 4.95 if lower… and also you can only put $25 which is about two days in a house… if you don’t want to use this prepaid lights no more and you owe .75 they are going to put a Switch hold on THIS PREPAID ACCOUNT… this really sucks????????‍♀️????????‍♀️ And this is an updated review September 20,2022

Response: Ms. Binder Your comments state that you are not happy with he addition of the $4.95 minimum payment fee that was added at the start of the summer. This fee was added as a way to help of keep our rates as low as possible . The cost of wholesale electricity has been at all time highs due to the price of the natural gas that is used to run the power plants. By adding the fee and giving customers the ability to avoid the fee, we can avoid having to raise our rates even more for all customers. Please keep in mind that not only can you avoid the fee by making a payment of $75 or more, you can also make payments as low as $40 with no fee by enrolling in autopay. Also please note that we would only place a hold on your account if you are unable to pay and accept the offer of a deferred payment plan. Once this is re-paid you can switch services but please keep in mind that you have a locked in rate due to your contract and prices have risen across all providers sine you started with us .
