Response: Your comment states you’re unhappy with the service since the company has changed their policy on payments. We do have options that will help assist you on avoiding that fee. The reason of these changes is all due to inflation that is causing the cost of electricity going up. We did hear out our customers comments and have done changes in order to accommodate with our customers. Please contact us at 888-963-9363 for more information of these changes. Im trying to give you the benefit of the doubt im new customer and have applied payment to the service the told me it would be 4-6 hours in this scorching hot weather in the beginning of July and they have said it would take that many hours to turn on I have done Acatia Energy the prepaid plan and they said it would be an hour and an hour it was not understanding why it should take so long to apply the services. Would be extremly happy if go home but would be very dissappointed if I go home and would have to still be in Heat especially since you paid.

Response: Ms Flores- You comments state you are concerned at the amount of time (4 to 6 hours) that you were quoted for your service to be turned on vs what a competitor quoted you (1 hr). It makes perfect sense why you would be concerned at such a discrepancy in this heat . The truth is that all providers follow these same protocols which are laid out by the State. No electric provider has a short cut to quicker service. We all send move-in orders to the State operated agency ERCOT who audits these orders and sends them to your local utility Centerpoint . Centerpoint attempts to complete these requests int he order they are received. We quote 4 to 6 hours because that covers the time it takes for us to receive confirmation back from Centerpoint. It could feasibly be much shorter but in some case it could also take longer. This might occur of your meter could not receive a remote connection signal , a meter installation was required etc. In your case I show that we sent the order at 8:51 AM and your service was active as of 9:49 AM or just under and hour however there does appear to be an issue with the address provided during enrollment. Please note that we feel it’s better to advise customers of average order completion times instead of quoting best case scenario timeframes . If you have any further questions please call us at 888 963 9363. We are here to help. Published on July 09, 2022

Response: Mr Luna- Your review comments state that you feel like are being overcharged. That’s is understandable and many Texas residents are feeling that way regardless of their electric company due to the hot summer and increase in energy prices all the way around. You are in a better position though because you are under a fixed rate so it cannot increase. A supervisor will contact you with more information about your plan and better ways to reduce your electricity consumption. 888-963-9363 Published on July 07, 2022
