I think the extra charge for not adding what you feel someone should have in their account I’d really inconsiderate inconvenient and stupid

Response: Hello- Your comments show that you are unhappy with the minimum payment fee. Please note that Payless Power has listened to its customers and reduced the fee from $9.95 to $4.95 for payments under $75.00. We also have an option that will allow you to make smaller payments without the fee. Call us at 888 963 9363 or visit your My Account Customer Portal to enroll in autopay. This is a convenient way to avoid the fees, make smaller payments and reduce the chances of a service interruption . Published on July 22, 2022
I had enough on my account for four more days. I’m waiting for a call back which is holding me back from my work!. I was charged an adjustment fee for $105 which put me negative with y’all. What the heck I put money on my account every week. I can’t find anything on the web page about an adjustment fee. So now my four children and retired vet will have to do without power when I thought I had four more days to pay. I lose electric by 12 and don’t receive my paycheck for two more days. Man I don’t know what to do

Response: Mr Hunt- Your comments state that you are alarmed because your account was hit with a large adjustment which has made your account susceptible to disconnection. This is definitely a major issue and a supervisor is calling you to discuss. This is related to an issue with a prior payment . The supervisor will go over your options and steps you can take to reverse the adjustment. Published on July 19, 2022

I have been a customer for almost 4 years but I’m struggling so hard to keep a roof over my daughter and myselfheads then to watch 100 dollar payments on electricity last only 3-4 days . I’m on disability and only use an hvac at night so we can sleep otherwise it stays off even in this 105 temperature each day. I call to see if I can get an extension but am informed that even after all the years being a customer and paying with no service interruptions I do not qualify. I’ve sold basically everything I own to keep the electricity on. I guess we’ll be homeless on the streets really soon. Everyone is a shark seeking to devour your life and wallet these days without any remorse or human empathy besides empty words. I don’t recommend this company since loyalty and years of service mean nothing.

Response: Ms Drake- Your comments state that you try to limit the use of your AC due to the cost and are struggling to keep up with your charges . This type of situation would affect anyone so your reaction is completely understandable . First off, please take all necessary precautions to avoid heat related health issues. You should not turn off your AC if its 105 degrees. We do work closely with the state to avoid disconnections during heat advisories and have payment arrangement options available to many customers. There are also state programs that can assist as well. Please visit www.texasutilityhelp.com Published on July 19, 2022
