DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE of using this bs of a company as a service provider! They are scammers!!!!!! For one the daily rate starts at 1 amount and DRASTICALLY increases shortly after! I ended services on my last moving day after extending the service for 1 day! The $21 was paid to end this extension agreement and everyday there after they have continued to charge me illegally by resubmitting an extension contract I provided no verbal or electronic agreement. I have contacted an attorney to handle the matter! PLEASE CHOOSE ANOTHER ELECTRIC PROVIDER! This company is a complete scam and I will be posting this review on every platform they have MULTIPLE TIMES to warn other potential victims!!!

This company doesn’t mean any good I’ve been with them for months and for months my kids and I have suffered due to disconnections after overly paying time after time I have filed to the courts on this matter it’s rediculous and disheartening. The free nights from 9pm to 6am is a damn scam they will have you behind payments every week. Do NOT go here for electricity you will be sorry like me.

Response: Ms Huff- To recap you are stating that you feel that you have been overcharged and you feel that free nights and weekends are a scam. We do see that you have been with us since the spring and that you enrolled online . You are currently in good standing as a customer. There must be some confusion regarding free nights a weekends because Payless Power does not offer and has never offered that promotion. If you log into your MyAccount Customer Portal and review “My Documents” the Electricity Facts label will outline the terms of your plan. 888 963 9363 Published on July 31, 2023
Hi Payless Power Team, Hope you are doing well! I had requested to close my account on 5th July however I could see some charges even beyond that date which led my account balance to be negative. Please wave off those charges and close my account if not already done. I have emailed proofs to your customer support email ([email protected]) for your reference on 13 July 2023. Please correct this issue and remove any dues showing up on my account. Best, Harsh

Response: Hello Harsh- Thank you for your inquiry. Please note that Payless Power bills 2 days in arrears. The last charges that you received consist of the billed usage from the last full day prior to your move-out date as well as any reconciled charges from your final meter read. Please visit your Payless Power My Account Portal for an itemized breakdown or call us at 888-963-9363 with any questions and to settle the final balance due. Published on July 31, 2023
Why was I required to pay a $75 minimum connection balance to start service? Other electrical companies do not do this.

Response: Mr. Diaz- Thank you for your question. Payless Power offers pre-paid electric service with no credit check or deposit. In order to start service though a pre-payment is required. For your plan, the minimum payment required to begin service is $75. These funds are applied instantly to your account for your usage, unlike a deposit which would be held for the term of your initial contract to guard against non-payment . Published on July 31, 2023
