Payless Power offers two Payment Assistance options for its customers should they need additional time: a Same Day Account Protection, and a Deferred Payment Plan. Keep in mind that if you have used the options previously while your balance is negative, you will not be eligible for them again if your balance remains negative. If this is the case, a payment will need to be made to avoid disconnection or to initiate a reconnection. Our 6-month and 12-month plans all include a $99 Early Termination Fee should your contract be broken before the term is up. The only way to waive this fee is if you advise us that you are moving. This company is bull, they make it hard to get ahold of , on the web or phone , I made a payment , received a txt of restore and nothing no electric can’t get anyone on the phone at all voice automated bull, over charge you , customer service is the last thing they are worried about …and if u had a emergency good luck trying to get someone to get on the phone ..company sucks worst people I have had to deal with choose someone else that cares about u as a customer , because they don’t give 2 about if u are in the dark or not even if I paid

We did send out the reconnect order when the payment was made. AEP Texas is having an issue on their end where they did not receive the order. We will waive the reconnect fee so you will not be charged the $30. Keep in mind that you can call to speak with a live representative Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Every call with a Payless Power representative is recorded, and a supervisor can review any call should a customer receive incorrect information or otherwise poor customer service. In regards to additional time, every customer can access the My Account Portal at paylesspower.com to see if there are any extension options available. This company is a joke we started with 40 bucks then deposited another 20 and lasted a week and a half then I deposited another 50 on a Friday and by Saturday we were at a negative 1.38 help me understand this never again will I get this company it’s a damn joke and they rob u my kwl went from 34 a day to 145kw and nothing has changed in my home

As you may know, Payless Power charges its customers based on the amount of electricity they use, and if shows that you consume more electricity, then your billing will be higher. We understand you may not do anything different, but the weather outside has gotten colder, especially in the past week. Colder weather forces your appliances to run harder than they normally would in normal weather, and this causes them to consume even more electricity. Your usage can always be reviewed by using the smartmetertexas.com website, which will break down your usage in 15-minute increments so you can carefully review when you use the most amount of electricity.
