Not sure what happened to this energy company, but ever since their so called Billing system update, it’s being ridiculously HIGH!!!! and No statement to view or see!!! Would have given them a zero star but it’s Not available☹️
Response: Edith, First, we thank you for staying with us through our new changes and systems. We believe these new systems are a massive improvement for everyone, as well as the new customer portal. Our rates haven't changed since the new system change, but the weather has definitely been a factor here in north Texas. Even if you aren't home, your home requires more energy to keep its temperature because of how cold it gets. Payless Power can only bill for what the meter reads, just like other electric companies. Don't forget, you can get instant 20% savings on your bill when you keep your account balance at $35! Published on February 14, 2018

Very pass poor company just easy to get started . I would never recommend this company to any one ( even the devil himself) the customer service is awful no one knows a answer . your bill is so high, you are not paying less AT ALL…

super easy to use if you keep your balance over 35 bucks it’s as inexpensive as anything very easy to keep track of and make payments have been with them for 3 years could easily change to another company anytime I want but find this super easy I get a text everyday letting me know what my balance and usage is.. it’s great give it a shot super simple process to set up as well. Customer service is awesome as well.

The worst electric company I have ever dealt with , my bill fluctuates extremely different every day even though my living conditions in my home never change, they charge me anywhere from 10 dollars a day to 20 dollars a day for electricity. When I called to ask why so high when nothing in my home has changed they have no answer 2 weeks later it goes back down next day back up.

If the temperature is 70 one day and 50 the next, it will require more energy for your home to heat up, even if you don't change anything to your thermostat. I spoke with a customer service agent, and I’m talking about old school customer service she was so pleasant on the phone, so much enthusiasm in her voice, she was very helpful in helping me open my account and get started with my electricity plan. I really use to like Payless Power when I first started with them but within the last 2 months they have been charging too much. I will be switching to another company

Bill keeps getting higher and higher as I use less and less electricity I was happy tell things were changed up on your text or ownership or whatever happened but I’m very disappointed fixing to change providers

The changes at Payless Power have not been ownership related, but in an effort to give our customers more transparency in to their account while also allowing them longer to make payments. The unusually cold weather here in Texas the past month has resulted in many customers having higher energy usage. Even if heaters are used sparingly, they require so much energy to warm a home when it gets below freezing.
