I love the prepay option with Payless energy, with a decent price per kilowatt. Setting up my account was extremely easy, and the process was very quick. My price is above the average for the state of Texas, currently paying 17 cents a kilowatt in January, but for a prepaid option with no contract it’s not too bad.

We really haven’t had a problem with Payless power I just wish it was monthly and not every other day.

Frauds prevention stopped me from making payment today earlier was a issue because it’s 30 degrees outside and the company disconnected the power.

There’s no way I should be spending over $200 in less than a month for electric services. This is highway robbery. And when I paid to get the hold off of my account, it didn’t go through within 24 hours, like they said, so that I could switch companies. Now I’m stuck with this bull crap company until I can get the hold lifted

We charge our customers based on the amount of electricity they consume, and if customers use more electricity, they will see a higher billing. Keep in mind that, during the winter time, your appliance will consume more energy because they must work harder against the colder weather. You can always review the usage you consume on the smartmetertexas.com website, which is a fantastic resource that our customers can use to track their electricity consumption, down to 15-minute intervals. As for the Switch Hold removal, keep in mind that we can only give generalized time frames as it depends on the overall workload of your local Transmission and Distribution provider.
