Been a loyal customer with Payless Power since 2014. Customer Service reps are always very friendly and soooo helpful (except for only one time, I got one that thought she owned the place….). They want to help you not just take your money, and if you are in a bind with your electricity, they will help you and not make you feel like a bum.

I love Payless Power! I like knowing what my family and I use daily! BUT the new notifications and changes are difficult to keep up with!
I liked my 1 text at 7am updates of the balance. Here is is 2pm and I just got 2 texts and 2 emails letting me know that my acct is below $0.00!!
11am is when they start doing disconnects, so I’m in a little bit of a panic mode trying to reach customer! I’m in que to speak to someone, there are 29 customers before me.
I’m getting too many notifications, yesterday I got 3 texts and 3 emails.
When before, like I said, I used to only get 1.

Response: Jessica, Thank you for letting us know that our daily alerts are beneficial for you and your family! Over the past few weeks, we have been changing our types of message and the types of alerts you receive at certain parts of the day. If you feel like you are receiving too many, call us at 888-963-9363 and we can update your account to receive only texts or only emails.
New page makes it impossible to make payments. Getting in contact with payless impossible it all goes back to main page. Good luck getting return response. To sign up they sign you up 7am on to try to call them your lucky if you catch them at 9am.

If you do, please contact us at 888-963-9363. We have added new customer service representatives to our staff to make sure we can take all calls in a timely manner.
Thank you for working with me I have changed my pervious 1 star to 4 stars. I am glad we were able to compromise a deal, and I hope that we continue to have a great communication with each other. 🙂

We appreciate the low payments for using electricity. We was paying almost double from the previous electricity company.

Response: Angela, This is great news! At Payless Power, we want our rates to be as competitive as possible, while also providing transparency with the daily alerts that go out to our customers. As long as you keep an account balance of $35 or more, you will receive a 20% discount too!
I just hope this works for me and last all month or I do not want my electric off I need to receive a text when I’m due for a payment or about to get disconnected

Response: Lytesha, You are in luck! We send a text and/or email to customers when their balance is low to warn them of a possible disconnect. We hope that the daily balance alerts are beneficial for you in showing you how much money you have in your account and how many kwh you have used.
Before they changed systems in the daily text it would tell you how much money you spent and the kilowatts and now they only send you a text of the kilowatts and balance, which does me no good I rather have my kilowatts, how much it came to and my balance daily like it use to be!

Once we get our Transaction History added to the MyPayless customer portal, you'll be able to see how much you've spent there. Stay tuned!
