I was very happy with the seving. I was working in alice tx and when I was going back to Seminole for the weekend, I had more days for that money. But to close my account that was something. But I’m still happy. It took not my life. Lol. So there is room for in proving .
Response: I can definitely understand your frustration when you were simply trying to close your account. We don’t want to give our customers are hard time but we definitely want to make sure that another party cannot call in to make changes to someone’s account without their permission. I’ve only had this prepaid power for a short while. As far as I can tell it’s great . The $25 reconnect fee if totally uncalled for. Thats why I have prepaid because I don’t have money to throw out the window!!!!

We also pride ourselves in being a full disclosure company, which is why we inform our customers upfront of any fees. We do not want our customers to feel surprised. Nobody wants to throw money out the window, which is why we provide daily messages to keep our customers informed of their usage in order to try to curb consumption and costs in their home. Additionally, we want all customers to be informed at all times of the balance on the account and avoid the balance falling below $0.00 and causing a disconnection of service. I appreciate Mr Honeycutt and His help however a persons bill shouldn’t go up all the time I am using same things everyday maybe a slight difference at times but not these extremes, also no notice when charges added with out the promise to disconnect Your service,I have little to no income which is not their fault of course but that is why I am careful about what I use and try to pay accordingly for new charges to show up unexpected.

We understand how the usage changing from week to week can really throw a budget conscious person for a loop. Unfortunately these changes in the total cost of service typically have to do with the weather outside. If the needle moves up or down, it affects how much energy is used in a big way. One may think that they did nothing different and yet still saw a swing in usage. This is because the air conditioner or heater has to run longer and hard to achieve the set temperature indicated on the thermostat. All electric providers simply take the usage totals reported and then multiply that total times the rate to come up with the total charge for the period of time reported. In Payless Power's case, we bill customers daily and communicate these charges via text, email, or Both-text & email. Therefore, we truly try to give our customers the tools to be in control of their usage! Again, thank you very much for your business.
