With the introduction of a potential ban on the sale of new gas stoves in the news recently, we decided to ask the average person in both the U.S. what they thought about a potential gas stove ban. We also asked them to identify what they believe the potential side effects of gas stoves are. Read on to discover how the average American feels about the potential of banning gas stoves, and if they plan on making the switch to an alternative.

With over ¾ of Americans believing a gas stove ban is on the horizon, and with the possible side effects of their use becoming more widely known, it makes sense that 83% of Americans with gas stoves in their homes are now seeking an alternative. While more Americans believe they should be banned due to their effects on the environment, 46% believed their health impacts on those in the home should be enough cause for a ban.
