Severe thunderstorms earlier this week left tens of thousands of residents and businesses in Texas without power as strong winds downed power lines across the state. Although local power companies have restored electricity to some areas, thousands are still experiencing power outages.
Safety crews cleaning affected areas warn residents to steer clear of any downed power lines and remind them to report downed lines and lines tangled in debris to their local power companies.
