Messaging Terms of Service

  1. When opted-in, you will receive text messages (SMS/MMS) to your mobile number daily. These kinds of messages may include billing, payment, offers, alerts, or other information. Message frequency varies.
  2. You can opt-out of this service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the phone number. After you text “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS reply to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time or text “START,” and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
  3. If you are experiencing any issues, you can reply with the keyword HELP. Or, you can get help directly from us at https://paylesspower.com/contact-us/ or by calling 1-866-963-9353.
  4. Carriers, such as AT&T, are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  5. Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you.
  6. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, please contact your wireless provider and not Payless Power.
  7. Privacy Rights per the Your Rights As a Customer (YRAC): Except as described below and in the PUC’s rules, https://www.puc.texas.gov/agency/rulesnlaws/subrules/electric/25.472/25.472.pdf, REPs may not release your proprietary customer information to any other person without your consent. This includes your name, address, account number, type or classification of service, historical electricity usage, expected patterns of use, types of facilities used in providing service, individual contract terms and conditions, price, current charges, billing records, or any information that the customer has expressly requested not be disclosed. Information that is redacted or organized in such a way as to make it impossible to identify the customer to whom the information relates does not constitute proprietary customer information. This prohibition does not apply to the release of your information under certain circumstances as required by law, including release to the PUC, an agent of your REP, consumer reporting agencies, law enforcement agencies or your TDU. A REP may also share this information with a third party for the purpose of marketing such party’s products or services to you after you are provided an opportunity to opt-out of the release of your information. In addition, this prohibition does not apply to the release of prior historical usage upon request and authorization of a current customer or applicant of a premise.
